What is the process of getting a dental implant?

Are you thinking about getting an implant and want to know the process before you begin?

Here are the general steps of getting a dental implant:

  1. Meet with our implant specialist, Dr. Koh, for a complimentary implant consultation
  2. Upon decision, next appointment will be surgery preparation featuring intraoral scan for a customized digital surgical guide.
  3. After about 3 weeks, Dr. Koh places the implant(s)
  4. Once implant(s) have healed and been evaluated, details of your crown such as custom shading will be discussed and prepared by our in-house lab technicians.
  5. Try the new crown(s), and once you are satisfied with the function and aesthetics, the restoration will be finalized. 🙂
